| Night lay thick upon the Forked Path Caern. Rends the Gar and Hears the song arrived to the Caern heart together as Luna peeked from behind the clouds to smile on her children.
"Like I said, I need a Lune and a Wolverine spirit fer my gifts. I'll let you decide what comes first. I'm ready when you are."

| Zoe nodded and concentrated, focusing her will on getting the attention of a Wolverine spirit. The two Garou smelled the approaching being before it appeared. It was a pungent odor, like a skunk's musk only more robust. A short, squat creature that looked like a cross between a ferret and a small black bear came galloping out of the ephemeral forest. Its voice was a bellowing bark, more of a challenge than a greeting. "Gulo hears your cries, and answers. Make it worth my while!" The spirit was only as tall as Zoe's waist, but its eyes reflected rage and a reckless tenacity that bellied its size.

| Rends puffed up his chest, meeting the spirits rage filled eyes with his own steady gaze filled with Lunas power.
"I am Rends the Gar. Thank you for coming mighty gulo. My claws are sharp and my jaws break iron. But we fight spirits bound to the Wyrm and they are mighty. Give me the gift that will let me savage the spirits thay stand against us and name your chiminage!"

| A barking laugh of pleasure issued from the wolverine jaggling. "Ah, you wish to learn how to bite, is that it? Well, iron is a fine start, yes, but I can teach you to bite hard enough to make stones bleed and the winter wind howl in pain!"
"Now what do I want... it is our way to range far and wide. Use this gift first in a far away place, many leagues from this Caern, the further the better. Claim new lands for your domain, and take a bite out of a Wyrm-spirit for me. Afterward, bury whatever is left as an offering to Gulo... I will dig it up and eat it later at my leisure, maybe share with my children, if I feel like it." The smell of the large weasel-like creature was beginning to make Zoe and Rends' eyes water.

| Gulo let out a loud laugh. "All of it is my favorite! Haha! I look forward to my supper, Fenrir!" And with that, the Wolverine spirit bounded off into the ephemeral night.
Rends nodded to Zoe, and she began the incantations in the First Tongue to call forth Luna's servants. The Lune appeared swiftly also, little more than a shimmering moon beam that moved fluidly through the sky. It wafted down around Rends and Zoe, bathing them in its glow. "Hello, son of the Full Moon. You wish to learn the secrets of Luna, I presume?" The words of the spirit were calm and soothing.

| The Lune wove and danced through the air, weaving shimmering ghostly patterns. "I would ask that you demonstrate cunning in equal measure to your savage physical might. Discover the ban of the next foe-spirit you encounter. Knowledge of that taboo may prove useful. Do you think these terms fair?" | |

| Rends thinks for a moment considering.
"It ain't gonna be easy. I got no ability to tell a spirits weakness. But if that's yer price I'll pay."
